MBC Community Consultative Committee
The MBC CCC provides members of the community with an opportunity to engage with MBC. Here you will find information about operations on the site and our other projects.
The MBC CCC is an ongoing point of contact with the community. The Committee receives information or requests from the community and works with members to finalise requests. The Committee will also help MBC to provide information to the community about activities on site and consult the community about those activities.
Our well-established Community Consultative Committee operates on the basis of trust, respect and transparency. We listen to the ideas and concerns of our communities and are committed to building strong, trusted relationships with our local community.

The David Calleja Car Show
The David Calleja Memorial Car Show was established as a memorial to David Calleja.
David was a long-time benefactor of the Bacchus Marsh Hospital and took significant pride in the Bacchus Marsh Community. The Calleja Family decided to continue David’s support of the Bacchus Marsh Hospital and use the show as a key fundraising opportunity for local health services.
David was an avid car collector and had a considerable stable of rare and unique cars, which the Calleja family display in the show.
The next David Calleja Memorial Car Show will be held on the first weekend in February 2023.
Sponsorship
The Darley Football & Netball Club and Calleja Group are collaborating to deliver the remaining funding to complete the major redevelopments for the Club. The Calleja Group are pleased to support the redevelopment of the Darley clubrooms and the establishment of a state-of-the-art sporting hub.
We are pleased to be investing in this important redevelopment project that will strengthen social and sporting connections for Darley, Bacchus Marsh and surrounding communities.
